Breast Cancer Health Program

The Indo-American Center’s Breast Cancer Health Program empowers women by providing breast health education and access to free breast cancer screenings. The program is designed to serve women living in Illinois who are uninsured, underinsured, or whose insurance does not cover breast cancer screenings. Women ages 40–64 are eligible, and younger women may also qualify if they have a family history of breast cancer or health concerns identified during a routine exam. There is no income requirement. By removing financial and informational barriers, we help ensure early detection and improve health outcomes in our community.

We offer breast health workshops every Tuesday from 2:00–3:30PM and Saturday from 12:00–1:30PM at the Indo-American Center through the end of June 2025. Organizations interested in collaborating or hosting a workshop at your location, please contact us at fbegum@indoamerican.org.
